I took this years festival logo and with it created a sculpture that stood a proud 4m tall and lit from inside.
At night it could be seen across the festival site, and this image was used as the front page of the greenbelt newspaper and as the icon for greenbelt's twitter feed
Welded in 25mm box-section steel, and clad with ply and twinwall polycarbonate sheet. It was designed and constructed so that it could be dismantled and stored.
Big thanks to Matt Wilkinson for welding, Simon Fowle for assuring me it would stand up in the wind, and the vibing team volunteers for enthusiastically working to get it into position, and Karen for making it light up.
This is great Saga! Came across this as I'm looking for your next supperclub date. When is it? x
